Driven by the desire to extend the human lifespan, the technology of Cryonics has startled mankind racing towards the path of immortality.

It involves the process of vitrification, which is draining the fluid from the body and replacing it with a glycerol-based chemical mixture - an antifreeze. The procedure protects the organs and tissues from forming into ice crystals and shattering. The body is cooled in extremely low temperatures on a bed of dry ice. It is then inserted head down in a sleeping bag and stored in a tank of liquid nitrogen at -196 degrees Celsius.

The modern science of Cryonics chemically slows down the body functions and allows the cells to enter a state of suspended animation for approximately £200,000. It has the potential to save the lives of nearly dead by stopping the ticking time and awakening the humans as if no time has passed. 

Preserving the bodies or human organs based on future advancements in science and technology, will the burden of high cost in maintaining the sub-freezing bodies eventually turn them into human popsicles?
